Cardiff Diamonds is the lead sponsor of Miss Wales 2020
They say that Diamonds are a girls best friend and here at Cardiff Diamonds, we believe that is completely true which is why we have decided to partner with Miss Wales and become the Lead sponsor for the organisation.
The Miss Wales competition was born in the 1950's and in the recent years has grown to become popular with women across Wales. Each year around 1000 women registering with the hopes of becoming Miss Wales.
The winner of Miss Wales is guaranteed a place at the most respected and established beauty pageant in the world, Miss World.
The Miss Wales organisation has also raised over £600,000 for charities in Wales, with last years finalists raising a fantastic £17,000.
This years winner was Gabriella Jukes and she took home the title at the grand final held in the Riverfront Theatre, Newport.
From Port Talbot, Gabriella is a exercise science graduate and is now a full time model after securing a place in the top 14 of Britain's Next Top Model. Gabriella is fluent in welsh and in her spare time enjoys singing and various athletics such as netball and karate. Gabirella is also an active women's aid ambassador.
She first entered Miss Wales in 2014 and is a shining example to never give up if you fail. She initially entered in 2014 to gain confidence and to make friends after meeting past finalists of Miss Wales at a fashion show.
Cardiff Diamonds will be supplying Gabriella with her jewellery throughout her year and at the Miss World final.
